* Not when used with an etchant additive such as MX200. This material contains the additive necessary to maintain high speed etching. In fact we can often etch at a higher rate than replenisher based systems. *
* You can also choose to etch without an additive, in that case, expect a 30% decrease in etch rate.

* As an interesting side note, all replenishers contain some form of rate additive in order to maintain etching speed. These additives can have a large impact on etch rate. If replenisher is added periodically, say every 10th board, you may see an etch rate fluctuation corresponding to this addition. On Mecer supported systems we add a small amount of this additive to the etcher for every board that enters the system. One of the many reasons our etch rate is so consistent.
