What is the most common mistake made by customers when operating the Mecer system?
* Failure to control the level of chlorides in the rinse water. If the chlorides go too low poor separation of aqueous from organic can occur leading to precipitation of ammonium copper sulfate.
* If the chlorides go too high it becomes difficult to remove copper from the rinse water and the chance of ammonium chloride contamination of the electrolyte increases.
